To exercise your rights and use your power, you don't even need to leave your house. Return your completed absentee ballot before Election Day and you can do two important things: participate in the political process and Avoid the Line!
Here are three simple steps to vote absentee by mail.

1.Fill out the following absentee ballot request form;

2.Press the "Open Printer Friendly PDF" button and verify you've entered your correct information (if you made a mistake, you can edit your information on the pdf);

3.Print the pdf, sign, put the completed form in an envelope and mail to your county board of elections or the Secretary of State's office by October 30 if you plan to vote. (click here for a county board of elections directory)
It is recommended you check your registration status! You can do so (once your form is completed and submitted) by contacting your local board of elections or by clicking here to check your voter information.
